Any websites that offer free multitrack dry recordings to download to practice mixing and mastering on? Im just wondering, or do you know of some that i can download for free to practice on?

Yes. THIS ONE!!! Search mixing contest. From time to time someone will post a challenge to whoever's game to download and mix their tracks into a masterpiece. Sounds to me like a pretty sly way to get your stuff mixed by folks with skillz for no $$$, but the couple I've followed (haven't thrown my hat in the ring yet) have generated a lot of interest and participation. No guarantees that the files will still be there, but the internet being what it is, I'll bet some of them are. The last one is here:

Really cool song and there's lots of examples of what other people did with the tracks... Dunno if the files are still there, but it was only a few weeks ago, so... worth checking.

There are lot's of others going back in time. The older they are, the less likely to still be there, but ya never know.

Many of the DAWs come with a few demo songs.
These are excellent reference tools for studying mixes, effects etc as well as what you are asking for.
Practise suites.
