so i saved some files i recorded at home at 16bit 44.1k. i took them to another studio to mix in 5.1. i believe the session was 24 bit 48k. but since all my files were 16 bit i didn't see why i could just bounce to 16. but i think putting a limiter on my masterfader that was functioning in 24 made the bounce sound all slow and low in pitch.

is there any way to fix this? i'm back home and i want to hear my recording project, but its all screwed up sounding.

no, your problem is your sample rate. what program(s) are you using? If you're importing it into your DAW you need to convert the sample rate of the file or set your playback sample rate appropriately
