Any tips for this ameatur recording?

i think the bass lacks definition and is competing with the kick drum. the levels are a bit off with the toms being quite loud imo and the panning is a bit extreme. the open hi hat sound is a bit harsh too. the guitars sound a bit weak.
 
What are you mixing on monitor wise?
 
I think the performance is pretty good here, but the mix sounds kinda odd to me. Sounds overly scooped (I think that's the word?) where you seem to have tried to accentuate the highs and lows at the expense of the mids a bit. I thought the HH was a bit too much, the guitar was a bit high and maybe too dry or something. Vocals could come up quite a bit I think.

I love the bass playing and the sub bass sounds come through pretty strong, but it could use more upper mid edge to it maybe? I did lose track of it at times. Overall I think it's a pretty cool recording but I would think you could get the mix to sound a lot better with some fiddling...
 
Thanks I have no proper music recording. So i just try to learn as i go
