Hello,
I have recently taken delivery of a new Spirit M12 series mixer. I have noticed that if I feed any signal to the M12 with the main mix up to zero (top of fader travel) and the Monitor and Phones volume controls at zero...I can still hear a very faint but audible (and distorted) signal coming thru both my monitors (Event 20/20) and headphones.
Is this normal or do I have some sort of problem here? I would have thought that turning the monitor/phone controls to zero would completely cut the sound but it doesn't seem to be the case. If I lower the main mix faders to the bottom of their fader travel, the sound does go silent.
Just wanted an opinion before either contacting my local people for repairs or treating this as a normal condition.
