Any simple directions for making an MP3?

I know, I should know how to do this by now. NO excuse, just simple lack of need. Now I need to know. If anybody has any simple directions for converting songs into MP3's would be great. I have a pretty strong computer that might have something on it, don't know though.

once your project is mixed down to a stereo file, run scmpx...

click on convert/single file/encoding mpx

from there you have to choose your settings....usually 128000,constant,layer3,joint stereo,none,original/copy is the default settings...those should do fine....

click ok and choose what you want the mp3 to be named and what folder it should go to....hit save.....
