i understand mixing is a HUGE difference on how your recording sounds, is there any thing i can get my hands on that outlines tips and techniques?

If you're interested, I have a 2 book 4 CD series from MIX magazine called the AudioPro Homrecording Course Vol. I&II. The books go over everything from recording and mixing techniques to describing different effects along with audio samples of settings, etc. I bought these for a friend of mine, and then he decided he didn't want them.
