I fecking love my new Br532, It is perfect for me and my first to digital recording.

I don`t believe you should spend thousands to make music. Musics music! you just have to be creative. In the 60s and 70s they created outstanding stuff, so whats changed? People should still be able to make Good music no matter what equipment they really have. Its how you utilise right?

Any one support me. I would love to hear other boss users songs.

You're right, music's, music. But I live in America, the land of excess so I must have a minmum of 24 tracks.:D I have to admit though Erland, you get a lot of milage out of your 4 tracker.
Waxing nostalgic about the old days of 4 track recording (read Beatles) isn't the whole story though. True, they recorded on 4 track machines but then they'd do a reduction mix to another 4 track machine and keep on tracking and sometimes another reduction mix or two.

Hey Erland......... Check this out. I did all of these songs on my Boss BR-8. Same as the 532, just 4 more tracks.

Lemme know what you think.

- exactly! no limits. Always working around problems!

More Tracks would be Great I wont deny, I just have to work with what I`ve got though. I learn more that way and get more impressed when new things come along.

later

Steve, I listened to a song before I posted. I don`t like Mp3.com, it annoys me. I will listen to some more though. "lie to me" really good sound. Good show. I have to go now.

Adios

Sampling rate important?

I'm thinking of getting a BR-532.

To me the biggest selling point over the Zoom is sampling rate.

The Zoom portables sample at 32k.

The Boss BR-532 samples at 44k.

If all the homework I did is correct, this is one of the most important specs to consider.

Anyone agree?

Tascam's got a new unit coming out that looks pretty impressive too, that you may want to consider, here's a link to it. I'm thinking of getting this one, because it uses compact flash cards instead of the flimsy SmartMedia cards, which in my digital camera selling experience, suck.
