Any one ever heard of a "help file"

Are there any questions here in this forum that aren't answered in the cool edit help files?

Seriously: any one can answer most of these questions if they just look themselves in the help file.

Where do you think all these answers come from?

If your able to post questions here you can obviously read.

Would you rather have someone else find it for you and type it in here?

I really appreciate this site because you can share techniques and other users way of doing things.

But there is too much "hand holding".

Here is the very best advice ever given here:

"READ THE ENTIRE HELP FILES FROM START TO FINISH."

It will NOT HURT YOU. I promise.
Do you think this is a good idea? It sounds pretty smart to me.

I've never understood why people don't read manuals. Even if you don't understand some parts it is still the best way to learn. My favorite are the "I bought this how do I hook it up questions?"

I second everything said here. That quote is perfect! I have seen that so many times and they are always answered by someone.

It's fine to not understand the manual or help file and then ask
a dumb question. But at least you tried. And everyone learns a little more just talking about it.

Didn't jesus, or some other dude, say something like this?:

"Give a man some fish and he eats today.
Teach a man to fish and he eats everyday.
Unless he over fishes then he's fucked."

Hey, can somebody tell me how to open up the "Help" files in CEP 2.0? These sound like wonderful, magical files, and I'd like to know how to access them.

It doesn't work on pirated software like yours. :p It's writen there in the manual... :D

It is by no means pirated and "written" is spelled with 2 t's. :D
