Thanks for talking about Reaper, just saw that it has all the functionality of Cubase with about 1/20th the resource usage. I will be using this from now on!

I like this thread,i'm a Cubase sl3 user ,and i found that Cubase did right when the released only 2 versions,instead of that mess with sl,bs,ms,123 crap,and i actualy was going to update just because i found it simple,since now they are going to have only 2 versions,they will attend more time....but i think my Cubase days are over because they are over complicated and very buggy.It seems impossible to not get into problems when you want to have a smooth session
I have also found Reaper to be so much simpler and easy to use,that i will make a switch as soon as they get the support for my us2400 ,so i'm another happy customer who will switch to Reaper
