Any Kristal users? I need your help

This is driving me insane

My understanding of MME and ASIO inputs is shady. I thought you used one or the other?

However my Delta 1010LT has both and if I use ASIO input 1 in to the LiveIn rack (input section) the only input in the waver (sequencer) that get's me a signal is MME 1. The recorded signal is then horribly distorted (although my monitor signal is fine).

If I go MME into the LiveIn rack and then corresponding ASIO input into the waver the recorded signal is fine but the monitor mix is distorted.

I downloaded the Sonar demo to make sure none of my hardware is faulty and everthing was fine there.

I'd be really grateful for any help.

I think that when you use asio inputs they show up again as mme..? that's what the hlp file says...

I posted the same query on the Kristal forum and I was informed that the liveIn rack is not actually functional as yet. If I just allocate ASIO inputs to the waver (ignoring the Livein) it works fine. I'm unsure what purpose the input rack will serve in later editions but for now I'm just happy to be able to record!
