Any interest? ADAT + BRC

I know they aren't in very high demand these days, but I've got an ADAT and BRC. I got them off of Rick not too aweful long ago, just haven't had any time to get them out to play with. If I recall correctly the Machine only has about 39 hours of head use, zero use from my end. Anyway, Just wondering if there is any interest? Make offers, also willing to trade if you have something I'm interested in. We'll talk shipping as the deal progresses, can't imagine it being too much.

I have always toyed with the idea of having one for remote recording but never wanted to fork out in case I never really did it.

What do you have in mind for a trade?
About the only thing I have laying around is a Roland Rack mount 16 channel mixer (M-160?)

There might be other things, just point me in the direction of things you are interested in.

Is the ADAT a newer one or an old Blackface?
 
It's the LX20 (20 bit), I have teh little remote for it and the big remote too (can sync a blue million ADATs together) all the connection cables, power cables and a stand for the BRC.

As far as trades go, I have a board that I'm rather fond of already. Guitars are cool depending. Might be interested in an amplifier or something, depending. Not really sure, all I know is I've got this stuff sitting here and either cash or something I could use would be sweeeeeeeeeeet! I also have a fat stack of unformatted ADAT tapes to throw in.

I know I have some random stuff like a Meek MQ3 single channel preamp / optical comp / EQ.
A ART Tube MP, and other stuff sitting in my closet.

Actually,
I have a little bit of keyboard stuff.
I have an old Roland MT-32 sound module. I also have a Fatar SL880 (I think) 88 key piano action controller and an Emulator III rackmount Sampler with a full library and an extra SCSI disk. The problem with the latter 2 pieces are I am not sure they can be safely shipped that far without damage. They all work perfectly though. I bought them to do some Radio / On Hold spots but the gig fell apart about the time I got ramped up.

I'll keep looking and posting what I find.

Hiya, I am interested in the lx20 and BRC...
i have an lx20 to my left and its worked beautifully.. i have a 16 channel mixer waiting for the rest of it to be utilized.

I have a few things for trade that ...i dont think too many would be interested in..but here they are:

tascam 488 MKII.. 8 track cassette multitrack. one of my first ever.. ill miss it
M-audio-mobile pre (2 i/o, usb with phantom power) ... 16 bit
skb rack ... i dont know 6 spaces? nice portable rack
m-audio 24/96 rca 2 i/o ( for a pc slot)
and finally epiphone les paul '56 goldtop reissue... buts thats a little expensive

and ooh.. are you willing to ship? before i get started too much

Yeah I'd be willing to ship, if I recall correctly when Rick shipped the 3 boxes to me it was something like 40 bucks or something silly like that. Not as much as one would think anyway.
 
alright one more question then i may pm you for a price -

when you checked the head use was the reading simply just the number 39?
not to insult , just double checking.
 
Creamy got this unit from me...and he used it a lot less than I did apparently. I can vouch for the condition. It is legit 39 hours on the heads. I had it for a few years but mainly used it as AD/DA converter for the PC (I had 5 ADATs). I believe he's also selling the stand with the BRC...it's a great stand, on wheels, in the Musicians Friend catalog for $99 by itself (hence the three boxes). I don't know what he's asking, but I'll say it's probably as close to a new unit as there is out there.:)
 
Hi Rick! Thanks for stopping by lol. I had grand plans when we made the trade, but they never panned out. Trying to free up some room.

T - To be honest with you, I haven't even looked at the head hours, I'm just going by what Rick told me pre-trade. The only thing I've done with it is plug it in, turn it on and turn it off once. PM me and we'll talk specifics if you're interested.

Allow me to add my two cents...

The Creamy one and I are friends and live in the same town. For anyone interested in his ADAT and BRC, I also have an ADAT 20 bit that could spice the deal up a little. Just an idea, but consider a BRC and 16 channels of ADAT recording. Think about it.

That would make 24 channels for me, i have an lx right next to me... and i only have a 16 channel mixer!

well then a 6 channel and another 4 channel... i could do it somehow right?! no! i have to save my money as it is.
