any inof on the MXL 990?

I found these in the musicians friends catalog (page 94 in newest catalog) it reads:

MXL 990 Cardioid Condenser with shock mount.
Large Diaphragam 20mm gold-sputtered diaphragm
30Hz-20KHz frequence responce
130db max spl

It list for $199.99 on sale $69.99

What do you guys think?

It's a side address mic (one direction) and they seem to be pretty cool.

That's a full review with comments and a few comparisons...
It's about as much as you can get without actually buying the mic yourself.

Seems like I read it's a little bright on the high end somewhere in this forum. Maybe good for female vocals. I'm looking more for male vocals. Considering the Studio Projects B1. I've read it's pretty flat with no color. Then again I'd like to have that "full" male vocal sound in the low end. For $79 it can't hurt to try the B1. Not to be confused with the Beringer B1
