Yes, there's improvement for sure.
No.2 sounds more confident and your pitch is much better when the melody jumps.
Are you looking into some recording equipment/acoustic treatment?

I actually have a mic thats decent, i just had it too far away when i recorded this. i learned that i need to hold it closer after i recorded this
