Any ideas?

upgraded to SP2 (hate it already)....
but when doing Ctrl+alt+delete (task manager window i guess)....the separate tab choices have disappeared. as well as the whole top menu :confused:
it was there when i first installed the OS, but now seem to have disappeared. have i accidently deselected an option or something?? anyone know how to get it back so i can see system process/networking processes???

Wow, that's pretty hosed, dude.

I don't recall ever seeing that.
 
Right click, and see if there are any options that may help. I did this once, and can't for the life of me remeber how it got fixed. Did you reboot again? You might search Microsoft's site....

done all that and nothing helps :(

Do you really need SP2? if not then do a system restore..
 
That is wierd, never seen that before. Try pressing Ctrl-Tab and see if it moves over to the other tabs, even if you can't actually see the tabs.
 
I FIGURED OUT HOW TO FIX IT!!!!!!

Just double click somewhere around the outside (like next to the End Task Button) and the rest of the window will reappear like magic.
