Any Home Studio Users Out There?

I have Home Studio 9 and want to sync with my fruity loops program. But there is no source option and also in the tool bars selection window the sync button is greyed out. Does anyone know why this is, or is the sync option not available on Home Studio.

Had the same problem last year....read the fruity manual about syncing and look for Midi Yoke(download from fruity website)...no joke its apiece of software that enables you to hook together the two programs. There are limitations....when fruity is master you can use cake to record midi but not audio...when cake is master you can use midi but not fruity audio. In the end I purchased a multiclient soundcard which allows me to record in real time from fruity to cake.... the other option is to import fruity wavs/mid to cake... by the way the Pro Audio isn't that much different than HS and the upgrade price has halved since I bought HS a year ago. one nice featue is MP3 converter.
 
I forgot to mention that the sync option is nonexistent in HS and you can't save the sysex settings on your synth to the HS. this really pissed me off at the time since these were standard features on cake in 1989!
 
The Home Studio version is crap anyway, get Pro Audio 8 or 9.
I run the 2 apps with Huby's loopback device it works perfectly right now, but you need a fast CPU.
