no tone suck.

yes it is a chorus pedal but it has trem also

good pedal but a bit on the pricey side IMO.

depends on which one you are talking about.
the DJ 5 does suck tone but the
Danelectro Wasabi AC-1 Chorus-Tremelo Effects Pedal a fantastic pedal IMO

I don't like any of the Dano Dj pedals.

I guess i should have been a little more spesific about which pedal I was referring to.

I bought and built a BYOC Trem and it is not a tone suck at all.

In addition, there are a host of mods you can do to get the sound to suit your tastes. It was my first PCB soldering and it went off without a hitch.

the Build your own clones can be a tad pricey but all those DIY amp and pedal kits are more expensive than they should be, JMO.

Kenny, you've recommended the deja vibe and the tremulator. Which one has better tromolo? Or is it a toss up?

Right now I'm thinking either the supa trem or the tremulator. Exactly the same price.

Any further recs for either one?

I don't know how much those ones you're talking about cost, but I've tried them both, and far preferred the one I ended up buying; the Empress Tremolo.

Has tap, accents on different beats (including 5 and 7 beat rhythms.. pretty interesting). It has a ramp (leslie simulator), different waveform selectors..
