Hey, I'm piecing together a small home studio and have most of the basics except mic cables and mic stands. Any one want to donate some stuff???? Boom stands would rock and 25 to 50' mic cables would be a dream. Thank!!!!

Yes, I have most of the basics too, but I'm out of money and I really need a set of Meyer HD-1s, and a couple of Neumann U47s (vintage please!).

Can anyone spare these? Please?? I really hate to beg but I'm up against the ropes!!!

:D

I'm game...

Sign me up for a Studer 2". If you are feeling particularly gracious, SR on all channels too.

I am also accepting "future" handout's too, so I will put in my request now so if you happen to want to get rid of your SSL with the full automation package, well, that would help me out tremendously too? Thanks!

You guys need to think BIG! ;)

Ed- my buddy with a house almost on the beach in Newport bought a 16 track 2" Studer and he had to tear out his basement door and part of a wall to get it into his studio.
The thing sort of worked but had itsy bitsy problems on every channel. He could never afford to buy a reel of tape for the sucker so it pretty much sat and collected dust until he parted with it at a loss. I'll leave the multitracking to a HD based unit and if I want that "tape" headroom a Scully 1/2" 2-track would do that nicely.
Anyone got one cluttering up their studio they'd like to donate to a good cause?

I'll settle for a Pod. I went to get mine to last week to go to practice for a new band I'm starting up with and couldn't find it. I had just seen it a coupla days before.

Being as the joke is about played out now maybe you won;t see this but there are two Scullys on eBay right now, one for $300 and apparently in good working order.

Oh, and if anyone has a couple Urei compressors laying around I could maybe use them. Just bring them over to my house and hook them up for me. maybe grab some beer on your way.
Thanks
