I uploaded a sample of the pre-production of a song of my band.
(we are looking for a signer so...there is no vocals
...oh and we also dont have a bassman so, I tracked the bass )
I'm just sharing the developpement. This is not a "real" recording, we just wanted to hear our songs without playing them...you certainely know what I mean (I hope
)
We did this quick, fast, we didnt take the time to check many mic placement...so here the description of the recording precess/gear:
DRUM: DW
26" kick : Senheiser e602 (there is no hole in the resonant head of the kick, so the mic was about 6 inch in frond of the kick.
Chad Smith Snare: SM57
Cadeson 10" Snare : CAD95
14" Rack Tom: PG56
18" Floor Tom: PG52
Overheads : MXL 1006
BASS (Ibanez SRX): Whirlwind IMP2/Amplitube
GUITAR (LesPaul): Digitech 2101a tube preamp's direct out.
