Can anyone give me a tip on how to record "anthem" vocals. Im using them for a punk/dance kinda song and the bridge is a take off of the chourse but in a anthem vocal style. You know were it sounds like its a room full of people singing something. How many tracking of vocals are used. Should they be as close 2 the same tone as they can be. Does reverb play a big part. What about panning. Ehh just looking for some tips.

What you might try and do is try doing 3 different vocal tracks and put a chorus effect on one of them but you might have to adjust the effect to get it to sound the way you want

What works well for me is panning one backing vocal part left, and the same part in a higher octave right. Keep recording extra backing parts till you're satisfied. And I use quite the same reverb for backing vocals as leadvocals.

I believe beck just recorded himself several several times over and made different voices each time for his "where it's at" song :)
