Lets face it, I am not a professional singer. I don't have a golden voice. But, I do have a unique voice and believe me unique is good in the music biz. There are plenty of voices out there that are awesome and sound like everyone else. If you have a unique voice your chances of success is greater than if you have golden pipes. At first people will say,"Egads" don't quit your day job, but after some exposier and folks become familiar with your uniqueness they come back for more. Point? OK, sometimes ( sometimes more than others) vocals have those "not quite on pitch" moments. You try to lay down a second voice track to ballence or bury it but they are still there. Lets face it, we may come to feel " I meant to do that ( like a cat that falls off the table), but it won't fly with new listeners. Antaries pitch correction works "real time" and it does work. I went from re-recording voice tracks to get rid of missed notes to concentrating on getting more character and feel onto tape. The rack mount Antaries is a little pricey but there are other boxes in my studio I would get rid of first.
