Taste of home
Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new to this, the advice on here has been superb so far. In comparison to some of the home recordings I've listened to on here, my contribution is a bit lame.

I'd really appreciate some honest feedback about the recording/playing/singing and tips to improve it. My family and friends have been very kind to me so far, but I know there is a long way to go, and I need to hear the truth, so tell it like it is.

I don't know much about production/effects or even what to do with a file make it CD ready so it's pretty much as it comes, straight out of the guitar and my mouth. I've been recording in my spare time for the last 3 months and this is the first complete thing I have made.

Cheers for listening anyway and I hope you dislike bankers or else you might think I am an angry hater for no good reason...

Well not bad for a first time right out of the gate, fritsthegirl. :thumbs up:
If at all possible I would bring the guitar up a bit in volume.

You should have posted this in the MP3 clinic further down the page you will get a lot more traffic and comments.
Maybe a Mod will come along and move it there for ya.

Oh yeh, good one about the guitar - thanks a lot, I'm going to give it a go. Have a bit of a time deciding what the right volumes should be to record at. Doh, spent ages trying to decide where to put this mp3 on here. Didn't even spot the MP3 clinic. Hopefully it won't annoy anyone if I just go ahead and post it in the right place now.

Multi posting of the same post isn't a good idea but maybe this time seeing that your new and all.

Such a rookie. Tried the guitar up a bit by the way, you're right - sounds loads better.

Great then the new posting in the MP3 clinic is new and improved?
