Is it possible to clear clipboard data, once a successfull copy/paste procedure has been carried out, or do you hust have to overwrite the in/out points?
Same goes for auto punch in/out.

thanks,
tony

I think the easiest way to clear the clipboard would be to copy 1 frame of dead air. And I don't think you can erase edit points in a program once you've set them. You can only keep replacing them. Either way, I use the edit points as locate points when I'm not using them as edit points.

Thanks!

I'm making a composite track from the best takes of several tracks, that's why I just thought it would be less confusing to be able to start from scratch!!!

But I like your idea about the locate points.

I think all of the edit points start set to 00:00:00 for whatever zero is. I was trying to find a way to reset them all via a menu, but to no avail. Another option for you would be to use MMC from the VM200. That gives you a lot more locate points, although I'm not sure how to do copy/paste via MMC or if you can.
