Now I am getting brave!
lol
This is part of the same song that I posted a piece of earlier. It is just a roughed out version that I put down when it was fresh in my mind. I played a couple of takes, and took the best one, but I was still kind of feeling it out so it is a little raw. Basically it is like a rough sketch of a project you do while your imagination is still working it out.

I guess what I am looking for, is what comes to mind when you hear it. Is it interesting? Boring? Looking for any contructive criticism...
Riff Idea

Thanks!

It reminds me of a music soundtrack on a film with lots of desert footage, or even a (Ralph Macchio) Crossroads scene when it first starts out. Nice build going into the heavy distortion.

I think a slight variation playing it the second time around and this could be a good intro into a great song...

That should be a more 'in your face' type of riff...suggestion : loose the reverb on the distortion (completely).

Yeah.
:00 to :21 - I visualize a young Clint Eastwood riding through scrub desert in an opening scene. He stops his horse on a high bluff, squinting into the sun and scowls. :22 to end - Camera pans to the dust trail of horses in the distance, zooms in on the surly but nervous gang that he's obviously tracking down.

I really like your tone. I wish I could get that sound thru a preamp.

Too much reverb in the first part...it muddies the riff up a bit. I think I would do the first part without the pinch harmonics as well...build up with a volume swell to the over-drive/distortion section then let it rip...screamin' harmonics with slow/wide vibrato and some play it slippery.

Cool start.
