sorry for the stupid question.. but...

how do i change the Sample rate when i record.. i'm using cubase sx and audigy...

I haven't used the products you have but my understanding is that the sample rate is solely a function of the sound card you are using and I do not believe that the SoundBlaster Audigy provides for multiple sample rates.

I'm a newbie too so I dont really know what I'm talking about BUT, I am using Peak LE and under my "Audio" control panel, I can access my sample / bit rate under "record settings". You should check there on your program or look at the Cubase forum, someone may be able to help you....
