another Oktava question

yes, although i'm not exactly sure whare, a search should turn it up.
but a little warning, i'm not sure of the controols used by the tester, i remember thinking it sounded a little haphasard.

wasn't that long ago though.

i think your thinking of the test between

the Oktavas and the MXL 603s

am i correct?

The C in MC-012 is for microphone and was meant for export from Russia - reportedly to be better in the QC department.

The K in MK-012 is for mikrofone, as the mics were not intended for export. Reported to be of lesser QC.

Anyway, that's what's up behind the MC-012 and the MK-012. Both of which are capable of working well, sucking, or breaking - and everything in between.

before the break, the same exact mic was manufactured for two different markets, at the same plant, with different model #.

only recently have they been different.
 
oh thats cool that clears some things up


now i dont have to worry about that

just gotta make sure i get the real russian ones
