Another monitor Q: ESI nEar05

I heard somewhere that the ESI nEars ARE in fact rebranded studiophile 5s and by the looks of it I think it can be true, but I don't know it for a fact. Do you live in the US? If the nEars are rebranded Studiophiles I think you could get better monitors, with deeper bass, for that kind of money (yorkvilles).

I think 375 is a bit much. If you live in Europe you could order them from here www.netzmarkt.de/thomann 300$

I'm kind of interested in these myself, since I don't have monitors and don't have alot of money, but if I lived in the US I would definately go with the yorkvilles (these costs twice as much in Sweden as they do in the US).

BTW Does anyone know if the nEars ARE the same speakers as studiophile SP-5B?
 
Thanks for the info Swede. I did some research and finally bought Studiophile SP-5BX, which is a newer model with 4 filters. I'm in the wrong part of Europe, so I can't order from that site and had to pay some extra.
