Another MIDI Question

I'm using Cakewalk Home Studio 9 and I've been told that I can use my keyboard (the one I'm typing with now) as a keyboard (ebony and ivory, sort of one). Is this possible?

Also, I would like to know how I can use MIDI in my actual mix when I export it. it leaves the MIDI parts out and I'd like to use MIDI in my songs more as I've only got a Guitar and microphone, the fomula could become a bit samey.

Any help, I'm grateful

I'm not familiar with HS9, but midi needs to be converted to audio before you can export to a mix. You can do this with DXi's if HS9 can handle that. Otherwise you need to record the midi to audio.

As for using a keyboard to create midi, you can do that in Piano Roll View. I doubt you want to try and "play" your keyboard, rather use it to enter data in PRV.
