Another Mesa Question...

In my last post I forgot to ask how much the Mesa Single Rectifier heads are as well. Anybody know?
 
saw one last night in GC for either 1400 or 1500, can't remember which, because they're all in that ballpark (the Nomads, Recto's, Mark IV, etc)
 
I believe mine was $1249, maybe $1299.(I forget exactly right now) I bought it back in July. One side note, your going to want to get the Recto Cab (vintage 30's) for your Mesa. I tried to just buy the head and use my Marshall Cabinet and it didn't do it justice. Was back the next day to get the whole setup. Do yourself a favor and go all the way. I know it's scary expensive but you'll be glad in the long run. And one other thing. You see varying opinions whether the money is worth it. Well I'll admit your probably paying for a name somewhat. But I also have spent loads of cash on others that didn't come close. Every so ofter you come across something that you don't have to fight to get to perform. This is one of them.
