Really liking the new Boss GT-100. Used one of the FX to drop the gtr tuning a 1/2 step too.. I thought it tracked pretty good.

Realize I'm not trying to replicate Satriani's sound...even if I could, but just try to get something sounding nice. A new feature is their custom amps that aren't emulations, but let you do what you want.

btw the volume control (in the beginning for instance) is the guitar ...no volume/expression pedal...which I also think is a huge improvment over the previous GT stuff and even the HD-500.

I use a VG-99 which has 2 GT-10's built in. Totally amazing.

I have a GT8 and it records really well. Been eyeing the GT100 for a month now. I need to go and try one out before buying though. Your recording, while the playing is nice, seems recorded too hot. I hear clipping/noise.

i just got myself a boss gt-100 for Christmas, i haven't had time to play it yet, but i am VERY excited to do so.
