Another Fruity Loops question

In the eternal quest to get better sounding acoustic drums in FL, I've downloaded several files in .wav format. How do I "import" them into FL so that I can actually use them? It appears that .wav may not be the proper format for this. Can anyone walk me through the process? Thanks in advance...

When you start the program,a settings box apears in front of the main screen.Click on directories.Having previously put your .wav files in directories in windows explorer (hat, ride, whatever);enter those directories in the settings box. When you open up the browser view, the directories will appear.Click on them and they expand to reveal the samples.Either click-drag the sample to the sequencer window or highlight the sample and hit enter. The sample will be loaded to whichever sequencer track is lit with the green indicator light.
