another drive problem

i have a problem rightnow
when i took the case out to see MB
i removed the connector of DriveD to see SDRAM
i stuck it in but
it keeps banging noises out and sometime D is not available
though i try stick it in again tighter the result the same
any advice?

Check where the ribbon connects on the motherboard as well, maybe you loosened it there as well. As for the banging noises... not sure about that one, is D: a CD-ROM? Maybe some coincidental mechanical failure, but lets hope not.
 
yes i check it many times ,stick it in tighter but problem still remains
very bored
 
The noise you're talking about sounds like what might happen if you mistakenly plugged the HD cable into the floppy drive. From the backside they look a lot alike.
