annoying echo.....

'Sup all,

I have a H&K pre amp hooked up direct to a Delta 1010, into Sonar 2.2XL. It's worked perfect for a couple years. I just started getting an annoying echo while monitoring the live guitar input, but only when that track is armed to record. If I disarm it, the echo goes away. THe echo is there if I am actually recording or not, as long as the track is armed. BUT....the echo is not recorded. I have no clue how this started or how to stop it. Does anyone have anu ideas? I've checked the drivers and all are as they shoud be. I dunno. ?????

Turn input monitoring off. Look in the help file if you need to know where to find it.

... or reduce your latency setting. Anything over 5 ms will likely be heard as an echo when using input monitoring.

I've got latency set as low as my system will allow without drop outs.

Turning off input monitoring....DUUUHHHH......geez. Thanks. Sometime I forget the obvious.
