so 6 months ago, I was using a Q10 with my comp. Recordin ASIO into Vegas with it.
when I'd have a song playing, I could click the effects button for any given track, and it'd come up, and that was that. no jump or skip in audio, etc.
now, when I click any of the effects buttons with playing audio, it like freaks out for half a second. buzzzzzzzzzzz then continues on after the effect menu thing is loaded.
It did it with my buddy's MBOX2, and now it's doing it with my mackie 1220 + firewire card.
the only other different thing is that it's now Vegas 6...coiuld that be it? it's really annoying, and a turning into a huge pet peve...ha.
any ideas?
if I make the ASIO buffer really small, its like a short high pitched BEEEEEP instead of a BUZZ, the higher the buffer rate, the more BUZZY and deep it gets.
right now I'm using 536 samples, 12ms offset.
