Hey you're a better musician than you give yourself credit for. I liked the tune. The recording was a little noisy and the organ was thin and sort of whisle-like, but overall the melody would make a nice background piece.

Jut my opinion.

Thanks Sonic

I did a re-mix but, I think I will have to re-record it....
testin' the waters here though...
Got rid of the reed synth and cut out some of the guitar..

Also, cut back on the levels to try to avoid the dissonance....
It's real hard with limited equipment though.
I basically have a mic, an amp, a guitar and synth, and a computer with a basic software for 8 tracks with limited effects...

Re-mix at 128 Kbps streaming audio

Re-mix MP3 download 5.03 Megs

Re-mix Realplayer streaming audio for 56K modems

I think it's 70% better but, there seems to be a timing issue...
Probably will re-record in the end though.
Glad ya liked it.

You did well on the remix. Taking the reed sound out seemed to help and also cut down on the noise level in the quieter areas.

If you re-record, try to use a click track. I find that these are the best way to keep the timing in synch. I will use a drum machine to lay down about a five minute click track, then do a couple of the basic tracks. If you need more room, you can overwrite the click track. I don't particularly like the click tracks that are built into the software since they tend to be harsh. I would rather use a drum machine that plays a steady beat with a drumset.

Good Luck.
