Whats the difference between the analogue wavetable and digital, or are they essentially the same thing?

Mmm....ahhh...what's the question?

What are you referring to when you say "wavetable"?

Are you talking about synthesis...?...or are you asking if analog audio is the same as digital audio...?

Basically...digital audio is a mathematical representation of analog audio.

There's no such thing as an analog wavetable. A wavetable is by necessity digital in nature.

If you're asking about the difference between an analog wave and a digital wavetable, an analog wave is continuous, whereas a digital wavetable has a finite number of entries which have a finite number of possible values.

Some of the earlier Wavetable synthesizers had analogue filters - SSM2044 on the PPG Wave, CEM3387 or CEM3389 on the MicroWave MK1. The MK2 and XT used digitally-modelled filters.

That may be, but an analog filter isn't a wavetable, it's a filter. We need more explanation from the OP about what he's asking.
