Analog Channel / Emulating solid-state console saturation

Do a search on channel strip software. There are plenty out there. Find one with low cpu cycles and put one on every track. A better approach in my opinion is to buy a decent stereo preamp and run your mix through it.

The rest of Charles approach is documented over at Digidesigns site. Look in some of the early DigiZines from a couple of years ago. He did a series of articles that pretty much parallel his DVD. Here is the first one: http://www2.digidesign.com/digizine/archive/digizine_april02/contents.cfm?body=mixing/index.cfm

Gnash5150, it's here: http://www.harddisklife.com/ (as are all the articles Middleman mentioned)

I would like to perform the same using Cakewalk Sonar 6.1 and Waves plug-ins instead of MSDSP's plug-ins.
The Diamond Bundle doesn't contain a channel strip emulator, but Waves recently released their SSL Bundle which definitely does.
