An Autoharp Tune...

pretty spacey!! What kind of phasor are you using?....plugin? Is that a vocal echo/loop towards the end. I liked it all except for the snare and HH sound, which was a little cheezy for me. I love this kind of music...cool

the third tune at nowhere.... homemade drums??:D  wild! the guitar coming in is unexpected..then the vocals.!! I actually likehearing the ambient noise at the beginning of the clip...and is that the computer "whirring away" in the first couple of seconds. So....what kind of drugs induce this great music:) Hey...!! the music is backwards...makes a cool ending. Some of the more creative stuff you hear nowadays. and the repeats at the end too...just great!! Beef up the fidelity, and you've got a top notch winner, in my book.

thanks a lot brother for listening and giving feedback....the cheeziness of the snare and hihat are completely purposeful...i figure..if you're going to use artificial drums, why try to make them sound real, when it is virtually improbable and way too time consuming for not that much benefit...

my setup looks a bit like this....

instruments----->Fostex 4 track------>computer (Cool Edit Pro-mixing and mastering) ------(Fruity Loops-drum tracks and ambience)

Cool Edit Pro comes with 40 processing effects and Fruity Loops has many as well...

thanks again..take care.

oh yeah, the drums in the third tune (Odd Man Out) are tupperware, pots and pans)

seems the bass instrument overpowers everything else.

I like the phat drums though.

Very clean recording.

nIce work

i'm a bass junkie at heart...i find it disheartening that so many songs hide the bass in the far background.. i realize of course that you have to be smart with your mixes, making the bass lower allows more room for the other instruments, but with this cut, i really wanted the bass and drums to be the focal point..thanks for listening...take care

samich,

I listened to "Movie circles", "Birthday bash", and "Odd man out" Pretty cool. Good vibe on "Movie." It sounded real good. Odd man out and Birthday were interesting. Nice use of the tuperware. This music is strange and trippy. It is also pretty original. Pretty cool indeed.

sabbath - thanks for listening and giving feedback...i appreciate you saying that the music sounds original...i don't know about it being trippy..i figured it more to be relaxing and somewhat disturbing, but it's nice to get some new adjectives...thanks again..i'm going to check out your music today after work and i'll give you some feedback...take care.
