just another question here if i am using a live dynamic microphone such as the sm58 how do i amplify it? i mean am i supposed to use my guitar amplifier (its a behringer 30watt) or are you supposed to use a PA system to amplify your voice??? :)

:D

You can use a dynamic through any amp. You may not get great results but you can use it. As with a condenser...you'r pretty much up shit creek without a paddle unless it has phantom power (XLR)

and no an XLR to TRS will not get you phantom power (well I don';t think so)

That is what a PA system is for. A 30 watt guitar amp won't be loud enough and will be prone to distortion and feedback.

But you can do it...that's all I'm saying. But yeah a keyboard amp or a PA system would be much better

Of course for best results, run it thru a pa. If your gonna use a guitar/bass amp, get a low impedance to hi impedance transformer. It has an xlr connector on one end and a 1/4" connector on the other.
