Ampex MM1100/1200

Hi everybody;*)

Ok, here is the thing. I have a 24 track 1100, but only use a 16 track head. I have parted out cards here and there to get this beautiful machine up to where I can use it sucessfully and man does it sound wonderful!

Anywho, I am getting worried. The cards I parted out are not working, and I am not sure how to go about fixing them. Who could I send them too, or can I fix them myself? I can not read schematics, so if anyone has an idea on how I could learn, so maybe I caould fix these, that would be awsome. I am open to all ideas and possibilities.

If you don't know how to fix electronics, you will probably not succeed. Get the machine to a service technician, that can fix it for you.

Doing it yourself it kinda like fixing an old wreck of a car into tip top shape without knowing anything about cars. You'll have to learn to be an auto-mechanic...
