Ok, this is thread is where you post recorded samples of your amps. Maybe we can get a pretty good recording collection of many of the popular amps out there, as well as the more obscure ones.

These are the posting guidelines for this thread:
1. Clean Sample (no fx, or eq)
2. Medium Distortion (or Crunch) (no fx, or eq)
3. Max Distortion, amp only (no fx, or eq)
4. Your personal best or favorite tone (list any effects used)

Remember except for your "Personal or favorite ", don't use any of the amps effects or aftermarket effects. The idea is to hear the amp, and only the amp.

Ok, Here is my contribution - "Vintage" Randall tone

These are recordings from an 80's model Randall RC-235 combo. This was made before washburn bought Randall, and I think it is an excellent example of Randall tone.

Please keep in mind, I just played the first riff that came to mind that would work with each tone, and it is a mish mash of stuff. Comments or questions on the tone welcome. The idea was to capture the amps tone, so unless it is something constructive, don't rag on me about my "lame riffing"..LOL

Here is my recording chain: Hamer Archtop > Soundtech ST162 Mixer Pre > M-Audio Audiophile 2496 > Steinberg Wavelab (for the heavy distorion, I used a Presonus Comp16 before the 2496)

Clean sample 1, amp only, no FX

Clean Sample 2, amp only, no FX

Medium Gain Distortion, amp only, no FX

Max Distortion, amp only, no fx

Personal Favorite Tone, Amp, Boss SD-1 (for gain boost only & added Delay via Kjaerhus VST plugin "Classic Delay")
