hey, anyone know anything about a good amp/pa setup. i have a setup that i built (in my head) that i think would be perfect for both and i was wondering if anyone knew the quality of it or had any suggestions for something better. here goes...

$250 - Behringer Ultrastack BG412S Cabnit - 400watt handleing
$140 - Behringer Vamp2
$200 - Nady SPA850 Power Amp - supplies 850watts
$30 - Behringer GI100 Ultra-G DI Box

all together this setup would (theoreticly-im a bad speller) produce great sound and would be the best i'd need for a long time, mainly as a guitar setup, but i can run anything through the Vamp and Nady power amp. i've worked with everything here except the behringer cabnit, does anyone know the quality of it.

1.Not a good PA setup, because that's a Guitar cab, no tweeters for the high end, also, only 400 watts power
2. Nady: N is for Not on your life would I buy Nady. More power than you need anyway, if it even works out of the box.
3. DI, for guitar you're better off with an SM-57 or similar mic. Besides you don't need a DI for any of the stuff you listed, it makes a line signal match impedence to go into a mic input.
4. Behri V-Amp? what else are you going to put through it? Not vocals, keys or bass?
If you want a sound system, price out a good simple pa all in one box, with multiple mic inputs, a couple decent mics, a nice little 112 guitar amp to mic up, and a multi-pedal that is foot controllable like the digitech RP series(not great but this sounds like a beginner setup and it's fine to learn on.)

yeah, the PA setup i wasnt really looking for, i was gonna buy speakers for that later on, but the Vamp is good for a guitar setup, i've worked with it before, and i dont really know much about the DI box, but theres something similar to it for guitars to remove all the hum, but i'll look around. and my friend bought the same Nady power amp and it works fine, and i dont really have money for something better (that i know of at this point). any suggestions on a good power amp that i can get for around $200? im on a budget but until i get a good power amp i was just going to hook my Crate GFX 120watt amp into the Behringer cab with the vamp as an effect box for it with a good footswitch i found to be compatiable with. im happy with the vamp-2 but im still looking around for certain things. does anyone know about the quality of the Behringer Cab i refered to? i've heard good reviews on it but i need someone's personal opinion who owns one. thanks.

something more to add.....

if I wanted to hook up that Behringer Cab into my Crate as a speaker cab since i dont get great sound at high volume due to only having 2 speakers on the crate.....could i get all 120watts into the cabnit. im still not sure about it because my crate has an extension speaker line on it, but the manual doesnt tell me how many watts it can send through it.
