hi all,
working on this song for my band's upcoming album.
its an instrumental - very chill, ambient type of thing - please check it out and let me know what you think overall. I would really appreciate some honest feedback. Thanks!

I like it ...

Sort of an ear collage. Nice mix of guitar & synth! I would fade out right at the barking though. Sounds like I'm intruding. And you don't want too much barking in your music.

hey thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I was thinking of bringing the barking down a little in the mix...but that part is actually meant to be a transition into the next song on the album...sort of a "rude awakening" from the song. Thanks again!

that s_it was too long man.

id shorten it, put more emphasis on the dramatics and dynamics, like make it do a creciendo to be realized over two or three mins. THEN fade it into a song.

every thing was fairly balanced, id put more sub action on those big bass wwWhHHHaaaSSS.

peace.

I pretty much agree. It was a little too drawn out. The recording and mixing sounded pretty good tho.

thanks!

thanks for all the good feedback. I can definitely see how this track may seem like it goes on for a while, but that is also sort of the point. Unfortunately, its taken out of context with the rest of the album...which, when it is done, is a concept album where each song flows into the next one. My hope is that the song works well within that context more than it does standing alone. Thanks again - this is all really helpful feedback!
