Tried to get a Bon Iver thing going. What are your thoughts?

EDIT: OH, shit. I forgot to mention. I'll be writing a song in this same style. The lyrics are not by me. It was just the easiest way to churn something up.

This is an interesting little number. I am envious of your ability to hit those higher notes. The heavy effects on your vocals sound best at those points for me, and I wondered if you could/should back off on them during the parts where you're singing in the lower register. It's hard to make out what you're saying at times.

When the lead guitar part first came in, I thought it was a bass and it sounded pretty cool. When you climbed up to higher notes though, it almost sounded like that track was out of alignment with the rest timing-wise. It was a little hard to fit the two guitar parts together for me.

Do you think it might be more provocative if you sang about her Amazing Thighs? I guess that might not go over as well...

Thanks heat! I've only just discovered my falsetto. It took me 5 years but I've finally done it. I love it. It used to sound so weak.

Yeah, I'm in agreement with you in the lower notes of the song. It sounds a little muffled.

I think much of that out of time has to do with me refusing to use headphones. Although I am not best with timing, that does sound pretty negligent.

WOW, This has got an amazing haunting quality that sticks in the mind (well my mind that is!)

if it did develope further (longer,more instruments,or??) would it lose it's magic & appeal?

I love it's simplicity, innocence, (bet you hate this!) but for me it's defo got something!

I'm not too familiar with Bon Iver. My wife likes him, but I don't know it. Maybe you're going for this kind of sound. In that case, never mind.

Lol, thanks for listening! Yeah, I think the hiss is from the acoustic guitar tracks and my mics requiring too much gain. I'll use a different mic.
