Am I really worthless?

It would probably help your flow quite a bit if you would take a few history lessons. Rakim is regarded as one of the best lyricists in rap EVER. Em, Snoop, and Lil' John aren't really rap pioneers. The landscape of hip-hop has certainly changed over the past 20 years or so, but everything you hear and admire today is derrived from artists like Rakim, Run-DMC, Boggie Down Productions, Public Enemy, Wu (like Glen said) and several more. If you love hip-hop like you say you do, study it. That'll help you understand the fundementals better. Also, there's no such thing as black rap or white rap.
