Alternative to fruityloops for drum tracks? Suggestions?

I currently use fruity loops for my solo recording project, and wondered if say ezdrummer is better or any said program is more hands on. i just saw ezdrummer on a youtube vid and saw how it has an actual kit setup. ive used FL for awhile but have always dreaded doing the drum tracks the way its setup and would have much easier of a time using a setup showing a kit and being able to per say play it out that way. any insight would be appriciated.

I use EZDrummer and I love it. You can load it up as an instrument track and then either program drums; play a drum track with MIDI pads, or drag and drop some of the provided MIDI grooves.

Never used FL, but with EZD I really don't feel like I need or want anything else for drums
