Interesting and fun...definitely somewhat odd sounding.

Kinda like les claypool jamming with stevie wonder, but stranger than that somehow. :)

Yes, I'd say the vocals are kind of boomy sounding - overloaded on some lower frequencies...proximity effect maybe? The background, crazily panned vocals sound better in that regard (those reminded me of Les :)).

Ayway, I think the mix in general has some lo-end buildup that could be cleaned up a bit, but that may just be me...thanks for sharing man.

Cool tune, although arrangement wise, a bit dragging with little chord variation. Recording sounds OK to me, has some nice depth.

That was very unusual.

The synth and the strange panning on the vocals were pretty cool.

JoeyM was probably right that the arrangement is a little repetitive. More variety would be good.

A lot of lip smacking noises got through in the vocals. Don't forget to invest in a good pop stopper (and by good, I mean panty-hose on an old coat hanger.)

Great feedback - thanks! I am going to work on the mix and try and remove some of the low end. I will add some chord progressions in there too.

Cool and quirky. I liked the movement of the vocals around the stereo spread.

The only thing I'd say is the vocals in general are a little too soft. I'd raise them just a bit.

Ya know... It's people like you who kind of amaze me. Reminds me a bit of VomitHatSteve's stuff... You guys can take something so freakishly weird and make it interesting enough for me to listen to the entire thing.

Here's the deal. I liked it. If you're wanting to get down with the funk of the 70's, you've gotta seriously pump up the jam. Those beats and samples were wanting to make me dance, but they sounded like they were being played in the Double Dutch Bus on the other side of the street. I want to hear them going down my spine!

Mix the drums and funky bass way up. Then mix the synths a bit more up than they currently are, but not quite up to the drum level..

Then take the muddiness out of the vocals, and you'd have me jumpin'.

Thanks for sharing! Keep at it.

Awesome man - thanks for the encouragement - I am re-recording the entire thing so I can punch it up a bit and add some chord changes!

i get the vomit hat steve similarity too...

it all sounds a bit off and lo fi but in a good way...not sure what to say in regards to any changes as this is your vision...id maybe have the keys up a little

It doesnt remind me of any funk ive heard though...and another one of those tracks that remnd me more of bands like dc basshead and the likes
