Don't stare at the eye.
This little acoustic ditty was tracked with my guitar tuned to an open E major (the lead was tracked in standard tuning, and played in C# minor):

Such a open, woody sounding accoustic guitar tone. Great job man. Nothing to add really since it's so well done.

Very nice! Nothing else to add. :thumbs up:

I'm an Open E5 tuning guy myself. ALA Stephen Stills. Awesome sounds from open tunings. :D

I think the space on the lead works for two reasons: the distance in the space fits the wistfulness and yearning of the melody against the relaxed strumming, plus it's really well played.

I've always appreciated you and your work--so I appreciate your comment that much more. Thanks.

Wow that is great I am working on an acoustic tone today and would love to know how you got that tone and mixed this.

Very nice, no nits at all, great job, and a great listen over a cup of coffee this morning...well done!!

I'm on my way out the door, so I'll refer you to another post--it's a bit long, but it takes you step-by-step through my acoustic recording process. The tune in this linked post even has the same mix elements as this open tuning track (double tracked guits panned L & R, with a lead down the middle):

Love it Bob! I could listen to this all evening and into the morning. I especially like the name of the song...Oregon lake :-0
