Aloha from Hawaii, I received some recording equipment

Aloha, I have received some recording equipment and I want to know what else I may need to get some recording done. The following is a list of items.
Teac A-2340 w/simulsync
Akai 4000DS Mk II
Tascam 102 Cassette Machine
Tascam M-1516
Alesis 3630 Compressor
Digitech DSR-24

I am a Bass player, so I do know a little about music and sound, just not recording it. Any suggestions would be a great help.

No, this is a good place to ask. You just have to wait for someone who is familiar with your particular gear to come along sometimes. :)
 
Hey ken you can check out a guy who lives out on the Island he is here with the user name dintymore (but hasn't been here in 3 weeks) and you can e-mail him or go to his web page at musicmusicmusic.cn
He can help you out some.
