You mean that you think that you may have let all of the bass out of this microphone!?!
This can't be good.

Actually i think the holes in the grille are kinda small so the treble can get out because the frequencies are smaller but the bass frequencies are too big to get out. This design gives the microphone lots of bass to make a bass drum sound rad!
