Just had a listen/view and wow! That is some top notch playing mr Winer. Great job and I am very impressed! Show us more! :)

Great video!

On more of a graphical side... what did you use as far as cutting you out for the video was concerned? Blue/green screen? What editing software or was it done in a pro studio?

Looks like he used a simple green screen and used a chroma keyer to replace the green with a digital background. You can do that in Vegas Video. I have no idea what he used though.

That's why I tacked on that little "making of" footage at the very end. You can see me in my home studio in front of a green screen.

I did it all with a borrowed pro-quality camera and Vegas Video 4.0. You can see that too at the end where I had my wife shoot me and the setup using a second borrowed camera.

See? I told you. :) Vegas Video rocks. I'm using version 6.0 right now and I'm completely blown away. For the price you simply cannot beat it. The chroma keyer plugin is the coolest thing!
 
I hate to be the one to dig up old threads, but I just found this on another forum, and decided it deserved recognition for its creativity and brilliance. Ethan... never give it up. did this over about six months from summer through winter 2005. I just finished making a widescreen version with 5.1 surround mix, but I don't know how to get that out over the 'net.

LOL, funny this thread is bumped now. I'm nearly finished with the music for my next video. This one is far more ambitious, and it's not only cello. I'm aiming to have 30 of me on stage by the end. With luck I'll be done this summer. Stay tuned.

I've been working on the music for my next video since last July. So far I have 80 tracks, 100 plug-ins, and almost 300 Wave files. I'm not exaggerating! :D

The music runs just over 11 minutes, and has dozens of guitar parts, four kinds of basses, organ, grand and electric piano, drums, percussion, string orchestra, and even a banjo. :eek:
